I provide individual and family psychotherapy focusing on improving the lives of preteens, teens, and young adults and primarily work with individuals ages 10-25. Appointments are typically scheduled weekly to begin and decrease to biweekly as needed based on progress. At this time I provide a combination of in person and virtual sessions depending on need and availability.
I don't adhere to one modality for all, but work to find the one that meets your individual needs and requests. I provide trauma informed, culturally sensitive, LGBTQ allied therapy. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
I offer a free phone or video consultation to discuss your needs and determine if you feel that I am the right fit for you. I understand that finding a therapist you are comfortable with can be a difficult task. If you decide to move forward with treatment after our consultation, we will then schedule a time to meet. If you do not feel that I am the right fit, I will be happy to provide you with recommendations for others in the area.
When services begin, I will complete a comprehensive intake to help understand your needs. We will then work together over the first few sessions to identify goals that you want to address in therapy.
I make every effort for therapy to be accessible and affordable. I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health New England, Cigna, and Tufts insurances. I also provide a superbill upon request for out of network reimbursement.
I offer a sliding scale for self pay individuals. Please do not let cost or difficulty paying for services deter you from reaching out.Â
